Asphalt Parking Lot Sealingsealcoating asphalt

Will The Asphalt Sealer Track Into The Building(s)?

If the contractor you choose is not experienced in commercial sealcoating and their knowledge of vehicle traffic control or pedestrian traffic is little, the probability of a vehicle driving through the parking lot or a pedestrian walking in the sealer while it’s still wet increases dramatically. This can cause unsightly tracking on the concrete, into the building and in carpets which can be very difficult to remove.

Once the asphalt sealer is dry, however, which can take from 6 to 24 hours, it’s safe to walk on. Be aware though, the dry sealer can still turn the soles of shoes slightly black and can be tracked into the building.
